The Victoria and Albert Museum in London are creating a database of photographs for weddings of all cultures between 1840 and the present, for an exhibition taking place in 2013.

They want to provide a rich record of weddings across time and culture that will help people to date their own photos.

To this end we are all invited to upload 3 photos to their site with the year the wedding took place and the name of the bride and groom.

The data will then be searchable by name or date

To take part you need to create a Victoria and Albert Account and then have your history added to the archive.
