An Intriguing snippet….

Scratch below the surface of Family Search and it’s surprising what you can unearth. They have partnered a number of American Libraries to pull together a collection of 40,000 publications relating to genealogical and family history studies.

You can search it for free, which I did by simply entering a family name, I was very surprised by the results I got and it will keep me busy for a long time with new information. There is an advanced search as well.

Although the focus is on America, I pulled up a lot of links with the UK, so it’s definitely worth a trawl through.
