Toolkit for your history project
Toolkit for your history project, these are directly actionable and we believe useful tools with help to get you started and/or extend what you have been doing in your project into new areas and ideas that have worked in other projects and might help shed some light and progress your research. There are a range of categories and sub-pages in this directory you can select from, as we implement the web upgrade this will start as page links here but be upgraded as we progress. Whats the difference between resources and toolkit? Yes well that is something we are looking to refine over time but broadly, a tool helps you do something and broadly a resource (at least in our definition) is the raw material, the data, records, collections and documents, media, video phots and other media you may have assembled and of course the piles of paper and books you will need to reference and yes actually read.
Tools are what help us transform the raw material and hopefully have some fun with it and make something that helps us either better understand the data and information or at least progresses it to help us gradually unravel, make more sense of derive some answers from the way we have researched analysed and interpreted the data with the toolkit (manual as well as IT) that we will look to share amongst us all.
